Spring Roll Noodles Nutrition and Ingredients
Let’s take a closer look at what you get with this box of spring rolls.
Nutrition Facts
You get 50 spring rolls per three pound box along with several packets of dipping sauce. Four spring rolls are considered a single serving.
The nutritional facts for a single serving are:
- Calories: 290
- Fat: 10g (13% DV)
- Cholesterol: 00mg (0% DV)
- Sodium: 440mg (19% DV)
- Carbohydrates: 32g (12% DV)
- Protein: 7g
The 290 calories per serving is the only thing that I do not like about these spring rolls.
The spring rolls are not very large and four pieces did not come close to filling me up. I prefer to keep my meals at around 300 calories and I was still hungry after eating the four pieces.
Ingredient List
The spring rolls have the following ingredients:
- Spring Rolls
- Pastry wrapper
- Jicima
- Edamame
- Carrot
- Cabbage
- Sweet potato
- Wheat protein
- Soy protein
- Onion
- Leek
- Soy sauce
- Vegetable oil
- Sugar
- Salt
- Pepper
- Soy Ginger Dipping Sauce
- Water
- Soy sauce
- Sugar
- Salt
- Lemon
- Ginger
- Honey
- Ginger powder
- Acetic acid
- Tapioca starch
- Star anise
How to Cook the Spring Rolls
I cooked the spring rolls in my Ninja Foodie air fryer following the package instructions.
- Place the frozen spring rolls into the air fryer in a single layer.
- Cook at 375F for 8 minutes turning after 4 minutes.
After 8 minutes the wrapper was still a little soggy so I gave them another four minutes at 400F and they came out perfect.
While to spring rolls are cooking, run the sauce packet under cold water to help it thaw.
You can also bake the spring rolls in the oven at 375F for 20 minutes.
Cooking in the microwave is not recommended.
How Do The Spring Rolls Taste?
These crunchy little spring rolls have a savory filling that pairs wonderfully with the sweet soy ginger dipping sauce.
The pastry wrapper was not as perfectly crisp as I was hoping for but was still provided a great textural contrast to the vegetable filling. The filling itself was both colorful and flavorful. Unlike the completely awful Minh Mini Eggrolls at Costco, you could recognize the ingredients and enjoy the vegetables.
The sauce was a pleasant surprise with a sweet, yet balanced profile of Asian flavors.
These are delightful “two bite appetizers” that are easy to prepare.
Costco Value
The 50 piece box of spring rolls costs $10.49 at Costco which works out to a price of $0.21 per piece.
These spring rolls cost almost the same as the Minh Mini Chicken Eggrolls and taste three times better. If you are trying to decide between the two products, go with the Royal Asia Spring Rolls.
