Costco Kirkland Signature frozen pizza is not only convenient but pretty tasty!
Today I’m reviewing the Costco Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza. This has been around at my Costco for quite some time but I haven’t reviewed it until today.
I have previously reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza. Additionally, if you’re looking for a frozen pizza from Costco that’s gluten-free you may want to check out the Costco Sabatasso’s Gluten-Free Four Cheese Pizza. I often like to make pizza at home using the Costco Molinaro’s Pizza Crust Kit.

You can find the Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza in the freezer aisle at Costco. The item number is 1429512.
Taste
For a frozen pizza, this isn’t bad! The crust got nice and crispy but not super crisp. It still had a slight bit of softness as well as chewiness. The edge of the pizza crust became golden brown and crisp after baking but not so crisp that it’s hard.
There isn’t a ton of cheese on the pizza but there’s enough to make it enjoyable. There’s not a ton of sauce either but the sauce is tasty and has a nice bit of tanginess.
There’s lots of pepperoni on the pizza! The pepperoni has a nice mild flavor with a tiny bit of heat and spice.
Cost
I paid $16.99 Canadian for the box of four 555 gram pizzas.
Convenience
The best before date on the pizza is about six months from the date I purchased the pizzas. They need to be kept frozen until you’re ready to bake them.
Although the pizza only has pepperoni and cheese on it you can definitely use this as a base pizza and add extra toppings! Green pepper, mushrooms, bacon and fresh tomato are just a few ideas.
The baking instructions are labeled on each individual pizza which is really convenient because you don’t need to keep the big box if you only have one or two pizzas left!
The baking instructions are quite simple! Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, remove all the packaging and cook the pizza directly on the oven rack for 12 to 15 minutes.
When I cook the pizza directly on my oven rack I find that grease, cheese or sauce tends to melt off and get on the bottom of my oven. To prevent this from happening I put a cookie sheet underneath the pizza to catch any drippings!
This frozen Costco Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza makes a quick and convenient lunch or dinner.

Definitely not a healthy meal! One-third of the pizza is 470 calories, 20 grams of fat, 47 grams of carbohydrates, two grams of fibre, five grams of sugar, 26 grams of protein and 1080 mg of sodium. I could easily eat half a pizza or more for dinner!

These are ingredients I would expect to see in a frozen or takeout pizza. The pizza contains gluten and milk and it’s produced in Canada using domestic and imported ingredients.
